APRIL 10, 2012 - Today we finished marking the official 7.2-mile Wicked #1 course for this weekend's event (April 14 - 10 a.m. Start - Racer's meeting 9 a.m.). It's classic. You'll love it. Several challenging sections with plenty of decompress-time. Ask for the "kml" file before you come and "tour" the course from the air.

UPDATE, UPDATE UPDATE!
BIG NEWS: We've upped the ante from a $1000 Pro Purse to $1600 for our first - APRIL 14, WICKED #1 Enduro event of the season. In addition to the 6-hour Enduro we also have a 3-hour enduro and added another $600 to the Pro Purse. That means that those who are racing in the six-hour event will have a $1000 to share ($500 to Pro Me/$500 to Pro Women), while those in the three-hour event will have $600 to share. There must be at least 10 entries in each Pro Class or we will revert to the 30% formula for payback.
We received calls from riders who would like to do the three-hour event first since this is one of the first enduro events of the season, saying: "Just to get in shape." So we listened and added accordingly.
We are also awarding a FREE entry ($75 worth) to every first place finisher by class as long as there are a minimum of three (3) entries in each class.

RC Tracker change for this race only:
Those of you who already entered, prior to today (2/16), and were charged the extra $25.00 for the GPS Tracker, you will find a reimbursement check attached to your entry when you check in.
As of this afternoon, we won't be using the trackers for this first event.
Explanation: We had a company (not IRC) that was going to score our event and track each entry. At about 3 p.m. it was verified that they would not be ready for this
weekend's event. Big time Bumber!
Therefore, every subsequent entry that we have received and processed has only been charged $55.00 per entry and the UTV entries are only $75.00.
So for this event, we ask that everyone stay on the marked course and don't take a chance of screwing it up for us. We know you won't. We are adding more course monitors
and secret checks.
Our friends at IRC are working something out for us for 2012 Since we last spoke with them at the end of the year, they, too, have a system that will not only "track"
each rider, but the system will score itself with the proper scoring program.
We will have all this sorted out for our April event. The costs? I don't believe they will be any more than the $25 and we are hoping that we can cut that amount down
further.

NEWS FLASH! - Feb 10th -
The California City BEST WESTERN INN & SUITES will NOT open in time for the first event of our season, February 17-18, 2012. Therefore, we are on "Plan B" - Registartion & Check-in: Friday, Feb 17, from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the start/finish, Proctor and 138th.
Saturday, Feb 18: Year-end Awards & 2011 SC #6 Awards at the start/finish, after the first Super-C of the season, approxmiately 4 p.m. or earlier.
If that changes we will contact everyone through e-mails and on this web.
