INFORMATION

SuperCourse events:

Eight events; Six SuperCourse and Two Team events make up
the 2012 California City SuperCourse Desert Series.

Event courses range in distance from eight-mile courses to thirty-five and even 50-mile courses, all in the deserts of California City, on private property and on unmaintained County roads, trails, easements, streets, boulevards and grandfathered roads. You cannot deviate from the marked course. To that extent, a GPS Tracking unit is assigned to you in order to verify your location at all times during an event.

The best six of the eight series events will count for the year-end point's championships.

Poker Run Fun events:

We have two "PokerRunFun" events in 2012 and these none-racing
events are set up for the entire family and friends to participate. They are fun, somewhat challenging but meant to provide a great, fun time
"touring" a designated and marked course layout. GPS can be used and
we will provide you with a Google Earth "kml" file for you to download to your particular GPS unit and follow.

Special Events:

We have a number of "special" events during the year to augment our schedule and provide our participants with even more fun and challenges.

The first is the HI/LO EXPEDITION, which combines a tour from California
City to Death Valley, then on to Scotty's Castle and culminating at highest spot in the United States, Mt. Whitney near Lone Pine, CA. Check for "expedition" dates as only a small number of people are taken on each Expedition.

AND THERE IS...

The other "special" event is set for June 29-July 1 in Ensenada, Baja California. The GRAN CARRERA EN LAS PLAYAS Gran Prix
is the first and only "beach race" in the Americas, where hundreds of racers on motorcycles, Quads and UTVs will be racing on the beach, its dunes and on private beach-side property. Over 800,000 people who reside in Ensenada will watch this spectacular, world-class event. International competitors are welcome to this first annual.

Then there is...

THE WILD & WICKED MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURO SERIES

Three-event series, each featuring distinctive courses around the Alta Vista Ranch priovate property, that it is sure to catch all racer's excitement. New tests, new trails and new fun in California City.

The dates are: April 14 - WICKED #1; July 21 WICKED #2 (Night race); and OCTOBER 6 - The Final Wickedness!

All events start and finish at the AV Ranch, 138th & Proctor Blvd. 3.2 miles, east ob Cal City Blvd, straight up the hill.
